  • The Wood…is solid, sustainable African mahogany, nicely finished with a hand-rubbed tung oil. Note: The grain and color of mahogany varies widely from piece to piece. See examples of how your mahogany Capcatcher might look. Sorry, we are unable to honor requests for specific color or grain. (Also, please be aware that after a year or more of direct exposure to the elements, mahogany develops a soft-gray weathered patina.)

  • The Opener…is Type 304 (non-magnetic) unplated Stainless Steel, with a highly polished, mirror finish. Will not rust, even in a marine environment.
  • The Screws and Fittings...are all stainless steel to ensure that nothing on your Capcatcher will rust. Two 1 1/2" stainless steel wood screws are provided to securely hold your Capcatcher while you pop a cold one.
